Westview offers a variety of fellowship and social events. We have an active calendar of church wide activities for the entire church family and their guests. We also have a number of groups meeting regularly and sponsoring special programs for people of similar age or interests.

Church wide events include:

Valentine's Banquet (February)
Vacation Bible School Presentation and Ice-Cream Social (June)
Independence Day Parade and Music (July)
Labor Day Cookout (September)
Homecoming Services and Covered Dish Dinner (August)
Fall Festival and "Trunk or Treat" (October)

Active fellowship groups:

Prime Timers: Westview's senior adults get together for monthly dinners, trips, and other fellowship activities.

Travelers' Group: Organized day, evening, and overnight trips for Westview adults of all ages. Recent trips have included a dinner and a ride on the Catawba Queen steam boat, and dinner and a play in Hendersonville at the Flat Rock Playhouse.

Westview Youth: Weekly activities including Bible study, music, trips, missions, drama, etc. See our webpage titled "Youth and Children" for more information.

Other church groups whose goals are not primarily fellowship oriented also get together for fellowship at different times of the year. Recent events have been sponsored by our Adult Choir, R.A.'s, G.A.'s, Deacons, Baptist Men, and Women on Missions.
