OUR PASSION FOR MISSIONS:

All Christians are commanded by God and compelled by His Spirit to minister to all people - those in our own church and neighborhood, and those farther away. From the beginning of Westview Baptist Church, the mission mindedness of our members has been evident in our GIVING and GOING. Through mission offerings, local projects, and mission trips we have seen God use our church to make a difference in individual lives, families, and communities.

Our GIVING has led us to the point were our present budget assures that at least 28% of all the tithes and offerings will be given to mission work. Through the years our GOING has included groups of all ages traveling to a number of our United States and abroad to locations such as West Africa, Honduras, Brazil, Romania, and Mexico, among others.

Local Missions:
Westview also supports and participates with a local ministry, Hands on Mission. Through it, we meet the needs of the people of Cleveland County. One of the latest involvements was working with the children of "Hands on Ramblewood" at their summer day camp in upper Cleveland County.
