Skip Allen

Skip Allen - Part-Time Youth Minister

Skip was born and raised in Shelby NC. He accepted Christ as his savior at the age of 13 at Xtreme winter youth conference. From then until his freshman year of College he thought he was supposed to go to medical school and become a doctor. This was his plan and not even close to what God had in store for him. During the spring semester of his freshman year at Liberty University God turned his life and future upside down. Skip realized during that time that God was calling him to serve in full time ministry by communicating the word of God. It’s Skip's passion to accurately handle the Word of God and to communicate its message in creative ways, in order to see people draw closer to Jesus Christ. One of his favorite songs is called “one thing” by Charlie Hall and there is a line in that song that says, “all of life comes down to just one thing and that’s to know you Lord Jesus and to make You known.” Those lyrics describe the cry of Skip's heart and the purpose of his preaching.

Skip has a B.S. in Biblical Studies from Liberty University and a Master of Arts in Evangelism and Church Planting from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary
